We were never meant to do this alone.

From longing for a baby to preparing for birth to finding your footing postpartum, we need people around us. People who listen. People who share what they know. People who remind us that we belong here.

I believe care gets better when we know our neighbors, share our resources, and create spaces where every family can feel seen, respected, and supported.

Maine Birth Equity and Perinatal Resources

There’s room for you here.

A pregnant woman with long curly black hair and dark skin in a white off-shoulder dress, standing outdoors among tall trees with green leaves, holding her belly with both hands and smiling.

As a Black woman, my commitment to supporting Black and Brown families is deeply personal. I understand that walking into a healthcare space can come with layers that aren’t always visible, the questions you hesitate to ask, the need to feel truly heard, and the importance of having someone in the room who understands why representation, trust, and respect matter.

That lived experience is part of what I bring into my work as a doula. I want all families to have care where they don’t have to explain every part of themselves before they can feel understood and where their voices, choices, traditions, and experiences are treated with respect.

And that same commitment to being seen and respected extends to every family I support. Due Season Doula welcomes people across races, cultures, gender identities, faiths, family structures, and paths to parenthood.

You don’t have to look, love, birth, parent, or build your family a certain way to belong here. You already do.
