Maine Birth Doula
Personalized birth doula services designed to help you navigate pregnancy, labor, and early parenthood with clarity and confidence.
Dear mama!
Welcoming a baby is a profound transition, full of pure excitement, learning curves, and a kind of love that feels deeper than any words could describe.
The day you meet your baby is unforgettable, but the months leading up to that moment matter just as much. Bringing a child into the world was never meant to be done alone. Traditionally, people walked through this journey with a community of support.
Whether you've planned this pregnancy, found yourself on this journey unexpectedly, or welcoming a baby through other circumstances, you deserve care tailored to your unique path. My goal is to walk right beside you with warm guidance, steady support, and a reassuring presence in your corner.
I can’t wait to meet you.
My Approach…
As a doula, I’m deeply inspired by the legacy of Black granny midwives, women who cared for generations with wisdom, skill, and deep commitment to their communities. Their legacy reminds me that birthwork is about more than birth. It’s about how we care for people, share knowledge, and make sure families feel seen and supported.
That spirit lives in the four pillars that guide my care: community, competence, commitment, and character. I bring them into every relationship by continuing to learn, showing up with intention, listening without judgment, and honoring your choices as your own.
My doula soul lives somewhere between preparation and surrender. We’ll ask the questions, understand your options, and prepare well while leaving room for what we can’t control. I’m not here to create the “perfect” birth for you. I’m here to help you move through it feeling informed, respected, and connected to your voice.
I also believe compassionate birth support should be accessible. If my standard rates are out of reach, I’m proud to partner with Community Doulas and local networks to offer sliding scale options and help you find a pathway to support that works for your family.
What it’s like working with me.
We get comfortable
Our time together is relaxed, honest, and personal. There’s room for the questions, worries, excitement, and everything you’re still figuring out.
We prepare together
We’ll learn, ask questions, and prepare thoughtfully, while leaving room for birth to unfold in its own way.
I’m in your corner
From pregnancy through birth and those early postpartum days, I’ll bring a calm, steady presence and support you in staying connected to your voice and choices.

That’s actually part of what we prepare for. Birth preferences give us a place to start, but birth can be unpredictable. We’ll talk about your options and priorities so that if things shift, you have a foundation to make new decisions from. The goal isn’t a “perfect” birth it’s for you to feel informed, respected, and part of what happens next.
-
Not at all. I’m not attached to one “right” way to give birth. I support families planning hospital births, home births, unmedicated births, epidurals, inductions, and cesarean births. My role is to help you understand your options, feel connected to your choices, and support you as your birth unfolds.
-
We’ll talk prenatally about what matters to you and practice asking questions and communicating with your care team. During birth, I can help you slow things down, understand your options, remember the questions you wanted to ask, and find your voice when you need it.

I’m there for them, too. A doula doesn’t replace your partner or take away from their role. I can help them understand what’s happening, suggest ways to comfort you, give them reassurance, and step in when they need to eat, rest, or simply take a minute. We work together so they can be your partner rather than feeling like they also have to be the birth expert.
